Meet the Founders
🌿 Maddie is a wife, a mom of two, and someone who had to completely rethink her health after being diagnosed with celiac disease, PoTS, and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. For years, she felt weak and foggy—her body wasn’t just reacting badly to food, it was failing to absorb the nutrients she needed. Learning how much damage celiac had done made her determined to heal, rebuild, and prevent further health issues, not just for herself but for her kids as well. That journey led her to microgreens—a simple, powerful way to nourish the body naturally.
🌿 Alex is a college student studying social work who has battled PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) her whole life. PCOS has affected her weight, mental health, and overall well-being, and after trying everything to manage it, she found that healthy eating was the key. A nutrient-rich diet not only helped her feel better mentally but also supported weight management—something that can be especially challenging with PCOS. When she was later diagnosed with a rheumatic disease (possibly arthritis or lupus), she dove deeper into research and discovered that microgreens are packed with essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that help reduce inflammation, balance hormones, and support overall health.
Why We Started Little Greenhouse
Both of us understand what it’s like to face health challenges, and we wanted an easy, affordable way to fuel our bodies with real, nutrient-dense food. But why stop there? We decided to bring these tiny but powerful greens to our community—because everyone deserves to eat well without spending a fortune.
